About CheckMyStay

CheckMyStay is a Chrome extension for Booking.com. Open a hotel page, click the extension, and you get one summary of the guest reviews: what guests liked, what they warn about, and one honest verdict.

Who builds it

CheckMyStay is made by Rustam Akhmetov, an independent developer.

Why it exists

A popular hotel has hundreds of reviews. Nobody reads them all before booking. You scroll a little, give up, and book anyway. Then you learn about the thin walls or the street noise on the first night. Rustam built CheckMyStay so that the reviews get read anyway, in about ten seconds.

How the summaries are made

An AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) writes each summary from the public guest reviews on the Booking.com hotel page. AI can make mistakes, so the original reviews always stay one click away.
